Rationale: Composed of alarm system suppliers, installers and monitoring centers in the Kansas City Metro area, the members have consistently shown their willingness to work with local law enforcement agencies to solve both individual user false alarm problems as well as working in the broader areas. This past year, members of the association spent considerable time working with Capt. Randy Mohr of the Olathe Police Dept. on developing a new false alarm reduction ordinance that uses the NBFAA/FARA Model Ordinance and helped get the ordinance passed by the Olathe City Council this year. They continually meet with local FARU administrators and are more than willing to take phone calls when special problems arise. They make working in the field of false alarm reduction in the Metro area a pleasure.
