Rationale: I'd like to nominate Guardian International, Inc. for the Industry Reduction Award.
In May of 2004, Guardian voluntarily implemented Enhanced Call Verification. Since that time false dispatches in Miami-DadeCounty have dropped about 40%. Prior to Enhanced Call Verification, Guardian averaged 500 calls per month; they now average below 300 a month. Guardian has not received any complaints from their customers concerning the second call verification.
Guardian International is a strong advocate for the reduction of false dispatches and their dedication to the Industry and Public Safety is one that should not go unrecognized.
